 Introduction 

Network security is the protection of the underlying networking infrastructure from unauthorized access, misuse, or theft. It involves creating a secure infrastructure for devices, applications, users, and applications to work in a secure manner.

Network Security is vital in protecting client data and information, keeping shared data secure and ensuring reliable access and network performance as well as protection from cyber threats.

1.     Don’t share your personal information

2.     Don’t download from unknown sources

3.     Don’t open suspicious attachments

4.     Don’t use public Wi-Fi 

5.     Don’t become a victim to phishing, smiting and hacking

 
Using strong passwords is especially important when you're spending money online. Good passwords should: never be shared or written down somewhere - don't tell helpline staff your password. the longer the password, the harder it is to crack - so aim for a password with a minimum of eight characters.



We all have a basic human need to feel safe: to be free from threats, to have trust and support, to be able to relax. Security – the sense of being safe physically, emotionally, and environmentally – impacts wellbeing in many ways, including physical health, emotional wellbeing, and how we manage stress.
